Over the past 9 years, WCO has committed to giving 100% of their concert proceeds to the local area food shelves in which they perform.  During the 2008 - 09 concert season, WCO raised a total of $29,416 (includes matches). 

 

WCO has raised a total of $265,493 over their 18 years of service to the community. 

This translates to 1,327,465 meals.

WCO presents approximately 10- 12 concerts during each season (fall - spring) with each concert dedicated to fulfilling the WCO mission of raising money for the food shelves in the community in which the concert is performed.  This all volunteer non profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization and is governed by a 9 member board of directors (all active chorus or orchestra members) with the musical director as an ex officio voting member.  WCO is not affiliated with any religious group or organization and currently rehearses at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in North St. Paul, MN.
